Park City in 2 days - but no snow…

Filed under: Snowboarding Vacations, Snow Report — Erica on December 1, 2008 @ 9:52 pm

Hmmm… so I’m off to Park City on Wednesday and was hoping to ride on Thursday and Friday when the morning sessions of the conference let out… however, the conditions are not looking too promising.   2 runs are open and an 18″ base?  Sounds like Snow Summit.  :-(

I’m checking with the bloggers at the Park City Mountain Resort to see what’s up, but I am not even sure if those conditions are worth the extra baggage fee.   Sigh.

  1. The one lift we have open does actually have the exact vertical drop of Snow Summit (1200ft), wishing we had more open for you, but it’s early season conditions for now. :-(

  3. hey

I’m off for my first turns of the season Thursday morning. Looking good in Cervinia!

Just saw this - maybe Park City won’t be too bad after all.

  4. Thanks Eric from Park City - I just saw your response to my question on your blog. I think I *am* going to bring my clothes and gear, and see how I feel when I get there - I’ll rent some boots and a board up there. Like you said, save the fee ;-)

Kayla - wow, that is surprising, do the mountains around your area usually have that much snow this early?

Adam - have a blast in Cervinia! Thanks for the link to that article, I had missed it. Maybe I will get a chance to get my legs warmed up for my J-Hole trip in a month.
